Adapters

Adapters hold either module to most lenses and are necessary for using zig-align at a lens stage. Zig-align makes the most common sizes with "lands" that are flat and parallel. Specify either the diameter of the lens' accessory threads (not mounting threads) or the make, model, and focal length of the lens.

Notes:
1. ZR8 can be used as a 67M7 adapter.
2. ZR86 is the same as an 86M7 adapter.

Please note that the aperture ring of the shorter Schneider lenses (50mm -105mm) is at the front of the lens and contains the threads into which an adapter is screwed. Because of this, the adapter would rotate with the aperture ring.This makes it impossible for the adapter to define a plane that is always normal to the glass elements of the lens. Therefore, zig-align does not sell adapter rings for these lenses.
