neg-align

Using neg-align (available only for D2s or D5s) with a mirror system is the most accurate, practical, and simplest way to adjust quickly the swing and tilt of your negative. It is extremely difficult to bend neg-align, so its top plate will remain flat for your negative carrier.

This top plate is machined flat within ±0.002" and is held with springs against the permanently and easily installed bottom plate. Swing and tilt adjustments to the top plate are made with two readily accessible and lockable adjusting screws that overcome the spring tension.

When you can use both neg-align and ease-align, you are able to achieve parallelism without touching enlarger settings. It is the fastest way to fine-tune parallelism for different enlargement ratios.
